Letter to Athletic Families of Veritas:
 
I hope this letter finds everyone doing well. My name is Mike Hernandez, and I have the privilege of serving as Dads’ Club President here at Veritas. My daughter, Elena, is in 7th grade and is enjoying her first full year here, after transferring in last fall. My goal is for the Dads’ Club to have a bigger voice and presence here at Veritas. 
 
 I am looking to recruit additional members as well as finding folks to fill the Dads’ Club Executive Board.  Volunteers are needed in many areas.  For starters, we need assistance planning out the year of fundraising and helping out our amazing Athletic Director, Keith Zaborski, and Asst. AD, Randi Wunch. These two wonderful people schedule and run all of our kids sporting events. They are the glue that keeps the Athletic Department running smoothly. In order for them to fully concentrate on their tasks, Dads’ Club members are immediately needed to step up and support Veritas athletics, Keith, Randi and our kids.
 
I encourage you to find time in your busy schedules to attend our monthly Dads’ Club meetings. Meetings are usually held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at Fuzzy’s Taco Shop.  A new notice will be going out shortly.  
 
Please consider volunteering once or twice a month and helping out at a Veritas sporting event. See where the sport’s activity fee you contribute actually goes. You can email me at vpadadsclub@gmail.com.
